Feliu Llobet Caixach
Feliu Llobet Caixach was born in the year 1996 in Barcelona, where in 2001 began his studies of music at the Municipal School of Music "Casa dels Nens" with Professor Núria Gibert. In 2003 he began his cello studies with Professor and cellist Anna Comelles in the same school. In the course 2008/09 he entered the Municipal Music Conservatory of Barcelona, where he started the cello classes with Professor and cellist Lito Iglesias. In the year 2014 he finished his studies of professional degree of music, obtaining the title with honorable mention at the Municipal Music Conservatory of Barcelona. He has received classes from great cello professionals such as Mireia Quintana, Joaquim Alabau, Fran Moral, Peter Thiemann, Sara Cortinas, Laia Puig and Fernando Arias. He has also had the opportunity to receive masterclasses from maestros such as Lluís Claret, Maria de Marceo, Damián Martínez, Jérôme Cuvillier, Maria Mircheva, Peter Bruns, Danjulo Ishizaka y Wolfgang Boetcher. He is currently studying the top grade of music in the Liceu Music Conservatory with the professor and cellist Angel Luis Quintana.
In the field of chamber music he has participated in ensembles organized by the Conservatorio Municipal de Música de Barcelona, Conservatory of Music of the Liceu and his own initiative, such as String quartets, trio with piano, cello duos and cello sextets. He has received chamber lessons from Cuarteto Quiroga (all membres), Amat Santacana, Daniel Cubero, Sara Cortinas, Gerard Pastor and Paul Cortese. He currently receives chamber classes from cellist and professor Erica Wise, in the formation of cello duo, and string quintet classes from professor and conductor Manel Valdivieso. He is a member of the Duet Elisi, a duet of Violoncellos that has together with the cellist Miquel Felip Peig, with which he has participated in music festivals in Germany and in concerts to Sabadell, Barcelona, Germany (Villingen-Schwenningen) and in Switzerland, debuting In that last as soloists. He is also an active member of the Esmeble Çur.
In reference to orchestral music, he has played in the string orchestra and in the Symphonic Orchestra of the Municipal Conservatory of Music of Barcelona under the direction of the maestro and director Albert Argudo, with whom he has performed in Toulouse, L'Auditori of Barcelona and in Valencia. He has also worked in music festivals with orchestra directors such as Stefano Pagliani, Albert Gumí and Pedro Cortinas. He has received classes in the basic direction of Orquestra from the hand of the teacher and director Daniel Schweizer.
In parallel with the studies of music, it has obtained the qualification of graduate in compulsory secondary education (ESO) and the degree of bachelor at the Institut Jaume Balmes.
