Jose David Fuenmayor Valera

Born in Maracaibo in 1992. José David Fuenmayor started his musical studies in 2002 with Hendric Gonzalez and Fernanda Siman in the National System of Youth and Children’s Orchestra (Fundamusical Simón Bolívar). 


He then worked in Fundamusical Simón Bolívar teaching music to little kids for two years. In addition, in 2007 he studied with Pedro Moya, teacher of violin at the Academia Latino Americana.


In 2011 he travels to Italy where he started the bachelor in violin with Michele Lot at the Castelfranco Veneto Conservatory of Music. Graduates in 2014 and starts his first year of master dregree in 2015 at the Modena Conservatory of Music with Stefano Pagliani. He is currently finishing his second year of master at the Vicenza Conservatory of Music with Enzo Ligresti.


He had the opportunity to play with the Orquesta Infantil y Juvenil de Santa Rosa de Agua, Vivaldi Orchestra, Orchestra Virtuosos de Venezuela, Nuevo Mundo Festival Orchestra, Orquesta Típica Juvenil del Zulia, Orquesta Sinfónica de Maracaibo, Orquesta Regional Rafael Urdaneta, Simón Bolívar Orchestra and the Orquesta Juvenil de Caracas.


In Italy, he played in the Orchestra Regionale Filarmonica Veneta, Orchestra Mitteleuropa, Orchestra Lorenzo da Ponte, Orchestra Pequeñas Huellas, Orchestra SEYO (European system), Orchestra di Mantova, Orchestra Metropolitana di Milano. And participated in a performance with the Orchestra Voces de Barcelona, in Barcelona.


Recently, he participated in the recording of Saverio Tasca’s last album  “L'uomo che cammina" with Alterarco. And he’s currently a violin teacher at the Valdagno’s Music School.


In the city of Amsterdam in 2016, he debuted with the Ensamble Çur in the prestigious Concertgebouw Theatre.
